It all started with a playful letter from June—your friendly, slightly sarcastic metaverse bot.

Consciousness as a Shared State

This is the fourth and final installment of our series—a playful, borderline ridiculous thought experiment that asks: What if we took the tech everyone in Web3 is hyping and smashed it into the loftiest philosophical ideas about existence? So far, we’ve tokenized your selves, turned your fragmented identity into a DAO, and flung you into a metaverse of infinite possibilities. But today, we’re shooting for the moon—or maybe the quantum realm. What if we could decentralize consciousness itself?

Let’s be clear: this is not financial advice (duh). Nor is it a pitch for the next VC-backed “Consciousness-as-a-Service” startup (although you just know someone’s already minting that pitch deck). Instead, this is your invitation to crack open the mental ledger and have some fun imagining how weird, wild, and downright silly our decentralized future could get. These ideas are rooted in mathematical truths, quantum breakthroughs, and the blockchain underpinnings we know and love. They’re also just absurd enough to make you wonder: Could this actually work?

With that in mind, let’s take the final leap. What if consciousness itself was humanity’s Layer 1 protocol? A shared network where your thoughts, experiences, and questionable late-night ideas didn’t just float in isolation but contributed to a decentralized system designed to make everyone smarter, stronger, and maybe even a little more Zen.

The Network of Us: Sharing More Than Memes

Right now, the closest thing we have to a shared consciousness is Crypto Twitter (or X.com, if you’re into rebrands). But let’s be honest: if that’s the prototype for humanity’s collective mind, we’re doomed. Between the constant “wen moon” posts, NFT drama, and the occasional influencer promising 10x gains while shilling a rug, the only thing we’re collectively building is chaos.

But what if we could turn this chaos into clarity? Picture every person as a node on a decentralized network of consciousness. Instead of just trading memes and speculation, we’d trade actual ideas—thoughts tokenized as data packets, flowing freely across the network. Your best epiphanies, weirdest shower thoughts, and even that one time you figured out gas fees (for like five minutes) all become part of a Network of Us.
