Hey Folks,

It's been a busy year, but we're not done yet! Today we're announcing the launch of "Give a Gift"! As part of December'stip of the month, we're going to cover this new feature. The "Give a Gift" feature sounds as simple as it is to implement - and inlight of the holiday season, we've given our card a little extra cheer. Now you too can give people the gift that keeps on giving.

So First of all, you'll need to log into your Piryx account to get started. You can either choose to work with an existing "campaign" or you can create a new "campaign". Now, under the "content" section of each campaign you should see a little check box that says "Add Gift Option to this page". Once clicked, a box will pop open for you to customize the settings for this feature. You can customize the title of the gift, and offer donors special instructions for their gift giving experience. (Note: The gift giving feature also allows donors to enter 

their twitter user name and password so they can share their experience with their friends. Additional integration with other social networks will soon follow). After customizing the settings, click next. Now you can customize the content that will be in the e-card itself. This could be just a generic campaign title, a mission driven message, or a request to give and pass the message along.

After customizing the gift giving experience and the subsequent e-card that the recipient will receive - you're pretty much done! Your donation page will now give donors an option to make their donation a holiday gift. Recipients will receive a beautifully designed holiday e-card that says "You've received a gift from [donor name], in the amount of [amount]". In addition, the donor can provide a personal message specifically for the gift recipient. Lastly, each card offers recipients their own ability to continue the gift giving experience, linking the card to your organizations donation page. Truly a gift that really has the potential to keep on giving.

As we move into the holiday season, now you too can offer those last minute shoppers something special for their loved ones. Whether it's a virtual stocking stuffer, a little extra something for those friends you won't see this holiday season, or just a gift for that one person who's just plain hard to shop for. The creativity is endless, and now you can empower your donors with an opportunity to share in your organization's mission.
